Support American Legion Post 495
American Legion Post 495 was chartered on January 13, 1947, by 58 World War II veterans in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Originally limited to WWII veterans, the Post declined over time, eventually becoming dormant with only 17 members.
In 2014, the Post was revived and relocated to Sussex, WI, bringing together remaining members and new Legionnaires to continue its mission.
Today, Post 495 honors its legacy while serving veterans, their families, and the community.
